Default Installing ABS Modulator

I got my replacement ABS modulator in the post today.

Any shortcuts or heads ups on installing it?

I guess it is a pump and series of valves in the brake system. Do I just drain the brake lines, install and then bleed or do I have to be concerned abut air bubbles in the valves and pump?

not sure about the new system, the older honda unit consist of a high low pressure pump, you can't bleed the air out without a computer from honda. I was trying to fix it on my old acura and ended up not doing any good.

the lines might be in high pressure, don't just open anything without um..instruction.

i'll check on the manual for you tomorrow, meanwhile perhaps someone would chip in

Dayum. I'll have a quick look in the manual myself.

Checked the manual. Just disconnect, remove, replace, reconnect and bleed. Easy as.
