Most I have seen, including mine, are installed with two sided adhesive body tape, no screws.
thanks!

thanks for the reply, do you know where the tape was placed? have you had it on for a while?
thanks!

The center portion fits quite snugly to the shape of the trunk. Make sure you have an '00-'03 third brake light. The key fitting it right is using a VERY clean surface, and a mixture of distilled water to plain hand soap (no moisturizers, no scents, etc.). Make the mixture VERY diluted.
After getting the double-sided tape onto the bottom of the wing, spray a light mist of the solution onto the trunk lid. Test mount the center piece of the wing without removing the open side of the tape. Make sure it fits, and then remove the tape backing. Place the wing lightly onto the turnk surface and move it left, right, forward, and back as needed. Once it's in position to where you want it, apply pressure onto it so that it sticks. Now don't move it anymore. Allow the solution you sprayed onto the trunk lid to evaporate.
For the side pieces, do the same as above. Make sure that you leave the trunk lid unlatched, but in the down (near closed) position. As you have one side properly positioned, don't apply pressure right away. Test that the trunk lid with the center piece wing doesn't hit the side piece as you open and close the trunk lid. Once you've positioned the side piece properly, apply pressure to stick the side on. Now repeate for the other side.
You want to make sure that both side pieces have similar gaps from the center piece. If they don't, the center piece will look like it's shifted either right or left even though it may not be.
Also, don't be shy with adjusting the actual trunk and the position it sits in. You can adjust the trunk position by adjusting the mounting location, and at the trunk latch.
