Will be installing the engine rear main seal (see below). Am i suppose to remove the metal piece seen in the picture? or do i just install it as delievered? For previous installs i dont remember seeing the metal piece and was just the rubber. also the metal will be sitting against the engine.

The part number is 91214-PCX-003.
