S2000 with 120000 original hard miles on everything runs perfect thank god. Ive had alot of honda's though. The second car i have owned whch was my first project car i bought blown up it was a gsr swapped ek hatch. Both the cams were seized in it. Ive noticed a big improvement in design on the f20/22c motors/ and the k motors compared to the old B and H series motors. I had to get a whole new head for the GSR because the cam journals were so scored and ground up and the bottom part of the journal is part of the head. on our s2000s both the top and bottom portion of the cam journals just unbolt and pull right out. I would search around and look for a part out or someone with a head that had a dropped valve or other non cam journal related damages and try to get the cap/rocker assembily and cams. If you could do this and their isn't any further damage you could simpily swap em out without even taking the head off your car!! This would be very cheap compared to a new head and or motor.

hope this helps you guys out i know the feeling been down that road.

this happened to mine also... im buying a new head and putting it on and taking the oil pump off to see if there is lots of metal shavings in the filter screen, taking the oil pan off, and redoing the timing... hopefully it works out for both of us...

i wouldnt know, the oil light goes off once the car started.... when i put everything back together last week, i started the car waited for pressure gave it a couple revs to listen to anything odd, shut it off, took off the valve cover, checked to see if there was lubrication, cams were wet, put everything back on and drove.... i was cruising on the freeway fro 15 miles... parked... cruised again (70-80mph) .... parked the car... try to start it and it was heisitating to start, needed to jump it.... then drove it on the freeway 70-80 and then completly shut off.... then tried to start it, and just kept cranking. sooo i took off the oil cap to see if it was the same thing that happened last time, and bam... intake cam stopped turning... so i have to take off the valve cover and see whats up.
