Intermittent Overheating Issue

I noticed mine were looking rather mangled last time I was down there while washing the car (>150k miles ap2). Haven't noticed any issues yet. Will address as preventative.

I want to experiment with a screen. Doesn't necessarily have to have openings smaller than grains of sand, as many grains will end up being rim shots and that will take out most of their energy. The few that swish through untouched will still be way less than normal and it'll take way longer before this level of damage occurs.

Will probably make it one of the winter projects. Will post what I come up with.

Yeah, I got lucky with 39k miles, all I see are a couple of bugs, lol!

Not sure about the dimensions or what would need to be removed, however there are different size sheets at Amazon of “Outerwears Pre-Filter Sheets.”
