Thumbs down Invidia 70mm TP: problem!

OK, so i just installed my Invidia 70mm TP w/ CEL fix on friday and now i have a problem. I started up the car and there was no issue, it ran fine no CEL light or anything. Around 1.5-2hrs later and approx (40miles) ..yup, you guessed it...the CEL light came on, WTF

Maybe i'm OCD but whenever that light comes on, i get very uneasy and this TP was supposed to fix that problem. Does anyone else have this TP and have an issue with the CEL...I'm thinking maybe the 02 sensor is loose?, but i know i tightened it pretty good

the 07's with the drive by wire can be very tricky to get it to work right, you may want to get an o2 fouler plug and install that along with the test pipe, also i dont know if you got my other offer, i got 2 of the bolts with the springs if you wanted to canel your order with honda

GL the newer models are prone to CEL problems with TP's, The anti-fouler tricks don't seem to work.

Not saying it won't but I don't recall seeing anyone who has been successful

well i am an owner of a 06 also fly by wire. i have berk's tp installed w/cel fix. light also came on. my friend and i have develop a fix and are testing on other model cars as well. it has been installed on my car for 3000mi no light. no modification need as far as wires go. just a simple screw in piece & then screw in o2 sensor. erase light & good to go. working on getting a patent, and hopfully will have them for sale soon. when ready to sell will go for $65. well keep u guy's & girls posted. pm if interested.

Please do not post wrong information!

There are plenty of threads about MY06+'s that work just fine with TP's. I have the T1R from A-J with their anti-fouler that looks like the BLOX (from inlinefour.com) and have never had a cel with over 25k miles on it now.

Yes our o2's may be more sensitive (which is still completely unproven) but an extra anti-fouler or the blox type will work just fine.

go to auto zone buy two spark plug foulers. they come in a pack. they are 3/4 i believe. its been a while. anyway one of my members have an 07 with dbw. his berk test pipe was throwing a cel. anyway drill a hole through the first one and make it flush with the threads on the outside. then the one you drilled will screw into the one that is not drilled. screw the 02 sensor into that one and then the foulers into the test pipe. problem solved. yes you do have to use two otherwise it will still go off. sorry i dont have pics.
