Default Invidia swayying fixed

One of the biggest knocks on this exhaust is that it tends to sway as it only has 2 hangers at the rear.

Today I had another 2 hanger added to it and it is now very stable.

Just thought I would post this for any other Invidia owners out there.

Where exactly did you have the hangers installed Marco?

I'm having an issue right now that I'm trying to solve with my Invidia. The hanger on the muffler after the cat is hitting my diff mount and creating one hell of a racket at 4500 rpm. Jeff at Evolution is sending me some hangers to try and fix this problem as I'm using the stock hangers.

It only happens (metal on metal vibration) at 4500 rpm? If these new hangers don't work I may have to grind down either the side of the mount or the hanger.:-[

I don't have the swaying problem ( I don't think anyway) that you are talking about though.

Other than that I frigginn love this exhaust!!

Never noticed that, but after aggressive driving(with turns/curves) the exhaust does sway/give a little.

I had this same problem. I tried a 1/2 inch longer hanger but then it was hitting the cross member directly underneath the exhaust. I had a muffler shop heat up the hanger then bend it away the diff mount. I have no problems now.

I get the same vibration at 5K rpm and only with the top up. I think it is resonating with some part of the top hardware.

Ok,
I just ran out there and jacked her up. I have lots of clearance to the dif mount.

Here is a pic of how I constrained the swaying. I used stainless wire cable with factory loops on one end.
