Default Iridium Plug Gap

Im putting in some NGK Iridium plugs #7746 and the gaps are at .044. They are telling me this is the OEM gap but if I recall from S2ki the gaps should be set .039 - .043.

What gap are you guys with Iridium plugs running

I'm running the max gap at .043, .044 is fine too depending on whatever size guage you have to set the gaps. Don't worry about using the larger gap of the spec, my factory plugs were well over .050" when I pulled them out as the centre electrode wore away, and the car still ran pretty normal. The Iridium plugs require less voltage to fire, so they can handle a larger better than other plugs. I plan on replacing mine every 2 years.
