Default Iridium Spark Plug Question

I have read numerous postings on Iridium spark plugs and most refer to Denso (either the IK22 or IK24). Does NGK make an equivalent and if so does anyone have a part number?

I have tried to do some cross reference work and came up with a PN of BKR7EIX-11 for the NGK. It came up as valid at a online ordering site with a price of $6.99 but no other details. Since the Denso's price out at $11.99 I am wondering if the NGK is the part number for their iridium series. If it is, why are they so much less and does anyone have any experience with them? Any insight someone has will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

The NGK # is PFR7G-11S for platinum. My 2002 NGK catalog doesn't show irridium equivalent.

NGK does make an equivalent. Go to www.sparkplugs.com to inquire about the part number.

I went with the Denso IK24, and I'm very happy with them. My car is mostly stock, but it still runs better with the colder plug.

scambo the NGK plug is the "iriway 8 iridium" but unfortunately you guys in the States dont get it, in fact, so I am told nobody get it except the JDM.
I had mine sent from Japan by a friend and have found them to be good, if you do a search you might find a little info on them, but not a lot.

Thanks to all for the quick replies. I really don't have a big preference for one or the other as they are both quality manufacturer's. Since it looks like it is much easier to get the Denso's in the US I'll probably just go with them.
