Default J's Racing Tower Brace

Hey, just got my parcel so I thought with the installation I would make a quick guide for you. Now this is just a rough guide but should serve well for the n00b amongst us...

Tools:
14mm socket 3/8"
14mm socket 1/2"
torque wrench 3/8"
breaker bar 1/2"
2 extensions (3/8" and 1/2")
8mm allen key

Now I only used the 3/8" because of my torque wrench, if you have a 1/2" torque then you won't need the extra tools.

1. Undress your J's Racing Front Tower Brace and slightly touch yourself with excitement...

2. Read the instruction, remember that they are in Japanese and discard them...

3. Get your tools ready...

4. Loosen the bolts on the bar itself so it's easier to install on the mounts. I applied some electrical tape to the bolt head and allen key to make sure there was no damage to the piece.

4. Remove the four nuts on the suspension...

5. Place the shiny J's Racing part on the car and lightly tighten all 4 nuts

Afterwards then torque the nuts to 49Nm.

6. With this done the final part is to tighten the bolts securing the metal bar to the turret mounts. I torqued these to 40Nm... it will most likely need a bit more but since there were no instruction I thought that I could always tighten it more if it becomes loose.

7. Then walk back and admire your shiny new racing part...
