Default j's racing tsuchinoko intake install?

I just got my j's racing intake from a member on here, just a quick question...

is the air filter supposed to be flush with the snorkel part of the intake? I pushed it in to the snorkel part as gently as possible, but I cant get the filer to be completely flush.

also is the inlet on the snorkel, the part that sits behind the front bumper, supposed to be wide like in this picture

the seller told me it was for a OEM bumper, but my inlet is alot smaller, maybe half that size..

thanks!

That picture is the OEM bumper snorkel. There is also a S-bumper snorkel that goes with the J's bumper that is shorter with a smaller openning.

Here is the parts for the OEM bumper J's intake

I don't know what you mean by the filter being flush with the snorkel, but the snorkel should fully enclose the filter when it is bolted on to the filter and "flange" assembly.
