JDM head gasket, higher compression?

JDM head gasket, higher compression?
as I remembered, JDM head gasket is running thinner gasket to increase the compression. I email'ed inlinefour.com and ask if they sell 11.7 to 1 gasket, his answer to me is JDM and USDM S2000 head gasket is the same... what am I missing here?
