I believe the AP2 rear subframe will bolt up to an AP1, but I think there are a few differences.
I believe some of the rear suspension geometry changes are addressed in the rear sub frame of the '04 and later. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please (I can't find where I read that previously).

I've done the swap. Totally bolt on, but you need new rear upper control arms. Makes the car handle better

The swap is easy, but time consuming. Took me about 5 hours with the car on jackstands. I got the subframe for like $280 shipped iirc and the control arms were like $180 shipped. I think it was worthwhile mod.

Where did you source the subframe and control arms?

that's less than the price of the toe arms from TC Design...

so my choice is...ap2 rear sub frame and upper control arms...or...TC Design toe arms.

which is better to reduce toe deflection/bumpsteer...

sorry revive old thread, I have a question.

So the 04-5 rear subframe is different from the 06+, what are the differences?

Are there any differences in the rear uprights?
