Sounds like a coolant leak. Hot coolant has a kind of pee smell...ask anyone who ever had a heater core leak.

I am trying to think of a coolant line that could have been disconnected, but I don't remember there being any. Did you notice any leaks?

It is the only think I could think of to cause the smell.

When the clutch is changed the engine cradle is lowered three inches. It could be possible something was cracked. It would only take a small leak to create the smell. If you don't see any leaks it could be something else. I would return to the dealer and tell them to recheck the car just to be safe.

I would say there is some minor slipping. How does the pedal feel? In my experience it is important to adjust the clutch pedal after a new install.

Maybe something was spilled and was burning off. If you drive it again and don't smell anything then you will know if you have a problem or not.
