Hi!
are you sure it's not 10 and 10.2 kilos? cause 10 pounds for a wheel is LIGHT, and an 18" wheel, almost impossible to find, but if it is 10 pounds, that's an amazing wheel.

10 lbs for 18" Volks? From evos2000 post he mentions that these are 19-20 lbs each.

I know they arent that light.....I didnt weigh them buy I did compare both side by side and the GT-U's with tires are pretty much close to the weight of the stock wheels and tires.

Nice rims! What offsets? What finish? (they've got so many different names for their finishes)

I thought stock rims weighed 16-17 pounds. Was I wrong?

That sounds unreasonably light. I thought 12.5 lbs was the lightest set of sturdy rims for our cars (and that's in stock size). I know 10 lbs is the weight for similar-size racing aluminum rims (that I would NEVER put on a daily driver).

The latest issue of Turbo has a number of lightweight rims compared. I did not see the GTU, but the xx37K looks very simiar.
To give you an idea of the weight ranges:

VOLK
CE28N 17 x 7.5" = 13.6 lbs.
CE28N 18 x 7.5" = 16 lbs.

SE37K 17 x 7.5" =14.2 lbs.
SE37K 18 x 8.5" =16.2 lbs.

LE 37K 17 x 7.5" =14.8 lbs
LE 37K 18 x 7.5" =15.6 lbs

(what's the difference between the SE & LE? They look the same except for the finish except they aren't the same weight)

TE37 17 x 7.5" = 15.6 lbs
TE37 18 x 7.5" = 17.2 lbs

Gram Light 57C 17 X 7.5" = 15.8 lbs.

VELOX PROGEAR
PG-REV8 17 x 7"= 12.4 lbs.
PG-REV5 17" x 7" = 12.6 lbs.
PG-REV10 17" x 7" = 12 lbs
PG=REV7 17" x 7" = 12.4 lbs. (divided spokes - nice touch on a 7 spoke wheel)
VX-6R 17 x 7" = 14.4 lbs.

RH EVOLUTION CP8R 17 x 7" = 12.4 lbs
