Default K member Bolts HELP PLEASE

Okay, so I have removed my engine and tranny, by dropping the K member out from under the car(I am assuming it's called a K member, the cradle that has all the steering rack and motor mounts on it) anyways I noticed that 2 of the 6 bolts that hold it in place are loose. I thought at first the just were not tightened all the way, but I tried that and they just spun in place. so I but an air impact on them, and was able to remove them, and I tried reinstalling them, but they would go up all the way but are still loose, So I am assuming the threads in the subframe are moving around inside of the subframe.

So my question is what it the best way to fix this??

The threads for the subframe bolts are in the body, not the subframe.

The only way i know how to fix it is the cut small holes in the body to access the weld nuts, then weld new ones back on, then weld up the holes that were cut.

It's pretty much fuxord.

Bringing this thread back beacuase im having the EXACT same problem. Front right subframe bolt just spins. After cutting into the unibody to apply new tack welds to the nut, I discovered there was no nuts in the framerail/unibody. More of a grey cylinder type brace which the subframe bolt passes through. Im assuming that it has has threads in it? I patched the hole in my unibody back up but made no further progress. Anyone have any ideas?

you might be using the wrong bolts in the wrong place. The longest one goes in the back, the shortest one goes in the middle and the one with 2 sets of threads goes in the front toward the nose of the car.
