k24 crank in f20c

Will it work?

I know cranks from honda run around 680 bucks...

a full after market piston set 500 bucks...

Although the search function on this page is not that effective ... you should at least make an effort and use it - because this has been covered several times (K series parts on an F series motor - or Vs Vsa).

The plug and play answer is NO.

I also suspect K24 internals are not anywhere near as balanced as F series internals. I'd guess 7500RPM will be your max, reliable RPM.

Look up inline-pro's 2.5 liter. Rumor has it a K24 crank is used. inline pro also removes the oil jets that spray cooling oil at the bottom of the pistons to make it work.

The 2.5L's has had an exceptionally high failure rate.

the k24 crank is also meant to be used with twin balance shafts. that is something the F block doesn't even support.

I would believe that is why the 2.5s fail so much.

I dont know how motors work, but what happens if you bore it out and add 2.2 f22 crank?
