Default Key won't turn while in ignition

Dealer wants $409 just for the part. Any ideas of where I could get the part cheaper? Websites, etc. Or anyone have confirmation that this is the right part?

35100-S2A-A11

Symptoms are: Key will go in, but will NOT turn forward at all. The bongs and bells still beep at me, but not turning allowed.

Hey before you spend the trillion, get a WD-40 and push the plastic nozzle inside and spray the sucker.
Keep jiggling after.

Ya I tried that. That was my first thought. I guess it's the lock cylinder etc something like that.

About the WD-40, I guess I could try that but the tech said the tumblers are probably broken inside I guess...

Check with Hardtopguy (hardtopguy.com) who is a site sponsor. He's probably traveling to the Dragon right now and will be there through Sunday...so give him a little time to get back to you.

I agree with suprmonky73. If it is in fact the tumblers that have failed, they sell thier "tumbler kit, key cylinder" for $236.69. Thats almost half off what they quoted you

I believe this is the part you want:

Someone correct if Im wrong
