Default Knock Sensor

Hey guys,

I broke the knock sensor in my 2000 S2000. A friend of mine has a good one from a 2007 S2000. From my research, I understand that the threaded portion of the 2007 knock sensor is shorter, but the threads and connectors are the same. Will the sensor work fine in my AP1 block?

Thanks.

i say just get the oem ap1 knock sensor, but if you want to experiment and take the chance its all up to you.

to my knowledge there is no proof of ap2 knocks working on ap1 on our forums. also there's word that 06-09 model years have black ones instead of the green.
