Default Knock Sensor from Rockauto?

Has anyone used a knock sensor from Rockauto? They have one for $76 and I'm tempted to but it. OEM Knock sensor is ~$150 shipping not included.

Does anyone have any experience on Rockauto knock sensors?

rockauto isn't like some ebay seller.. pretty much.. all of their parts... should work fine.. call them.. talk with one of their sales people about your concern, it might not work, an then, order.. so.. that call, acts as a you mentioned your concern about working or not.. and then.. when it arrives and works.. problem solved.. and if, it does not hold up to measure.. you did start with a note, which addressed your concern, ahead of time..

somewhere in our S2ki forum is a guy who sells.. very cheap knock sensors.. I have not tried his.. you might look up and see..

good luck..

I have heard good things from Rock auto and suspect that it would work. The reason I suspect that it would work is because most eBay knock sensors people have trouble with sell for $10-15 which is obviously absurd. $80 seems like the price for a proper replacement that isn't a POS. I got my replacement knock sensor from Ballade for around that price and have had none of the horror stories associated with eBay knock sensors.

Just my 2 cents.

I bought the downstream O2 sensor from them and had no issues with the part and how it worked. I wouldn't have any reservations from ordering the sensor.

I bought a knock sensor from them for my AP2 - SMP brand.
Came in an SMP box and inside was a "Genuine Honda Parts" bag and the new knock sensor was indistinguishable from the old one.

Worked perfectly.

I've gotten several things from RockAuto.
They're solid.

Also, if you sign up for their mailing list you get a reusable 5% off coupon pretty regularly.

OK. Cool. Thanks for the input all. I will be getting it from Rockauto then. I've also gotten a lot of parts for my other car from Rockauto. I've never bought a part from them for my S. Guess this will be the first. Thanks
