Default Knocking in FR wheel area.

Ok, just got back from the dragon and on the return trip, I noticed that when turning right and under slight acceleration I get a knocking noise from the front right wheel. I'm guessing tierod, but I want someone with more experience to throw in comments. I'll be taking it to the dealer ASAP, but that may be as late as next week.

Also, the noise is not noticable when going straight, decelerating, accelerating hard, or turning left. There is also a bit of a vibration in the wheel at high speeds, but nothing I wouldn't be willing to attribute to wheel balance. The car was recently aligned (within 2 weeks) as the dealership aligned it when they repaired the rear inner CV joints.

I have had numerous problems on my car with the Camber adjustment bolt backing off allowing movement that makes a clunk on some turns. It is supposed to be tightened to 58 lb/ft but I have needed to put more on it to prevent movement.

I had the front subframe replaced under warranty some time ago because the tabs that hold the elliptical washer were bent out from movement. I am sure this was because of incorrect torque from early alignments followed by hard track use. Have found it loose again since then.

Not saying this is your problem but since it could be, and cause damage that is very expensive to fix (new subframe), I would check the torque, maybe going a little tighter than spec.
