lca issues wrong parts possibly......

Default lca issues wrong parts possibly......

i am in the middle of replacing my upper and lower control arms and im stuck can get the bolt closest to the driver seat to feed through both bolt holes, i cant get the bushing to line up help please.......

: / nothing we ca do really... make sure you got the right bolt, look stuff up in the Chilton's manual..

Use your jack to adjust the control arm up and down until it lines up. You pretty much just have to muscle it on.

use the jack. this job with 1 person is pretty tough too! You might want to try and get someone else to put pressure on the control arms to line them up while you find the threads.

well dont start putting a wrench on anything and trying to tighten it until you start the threads. You do NOT want to strip it!

stick a rod in the other end to force the bushing to line up to the bolts, yeah...nothing we can do atm

time to man handle business

haha so this is kinda funny guess i left my s2ki account logged in at my friends house and he changed the tittle from please help, to "i took my car apart and cant put it back together" lol fawkers........but anyways to follow up on this situation i think i may have got the incorrect parts all the parts i got are for a 2005 ap2 and i have a 2000 ap1 the guy who sold them to me off of craigslist said it doesnt matter there all the same but when i put the new parts next to my old parts the lca is over all a little larger and the upper control arm isnt wide enough to fit in both of my bolting locations, so wtf! anybody have input if the parts differ in make between 2000-2005 thank you!
