Default LE 1605

I see that Rick's Accessories now carries LE 1605 SAE 110 GL5 gear oil. Has anyone tried it yet? Feedback?

I think the 1605 is based on the new SAE ratings, so SAE110 is equivalent to the old SAE90. Clear as mud? Good.

That is why we are now stocking it. 1605 replaced 607. So since it is so new, there would be few that have used it, and less would have used it for any length of time.

Switch over to LE 1605 today after 18k hard miles on the LE607. The oil still looks very clean..very little fuzz on the drain plug...The LE607 is good stuff... The new LE1605 feels little tacky when rub between the fingers.. It took a little longer to pump the fluid back in to the pumpkin. Other than that, i didn't notice any difference when i put the pedal to the metal!
