Leaded or Unleaded
One of my neighbors was putting some 111 octane leaded gasonline in his muscel car today and told me I should try some because it made a huge difference for his ride? Can we even put leaded gasoline in our car.
really...just DONT try it. Leaded will destroy your emissions systems and I think they pit the cylinder walls as well. Your car wasnt ment for leaded. I also think that if your neighbor works on cars a lot.....he knows u cant put leaded and just hates your guts. I'd go and tell him that putting soda or sugar in the engine eliminates engine wear completely.
(soda and sugar will completely destroy your engine!!! So none of you go try it. I was just stating a LIE...it will not eliminate friction...just destroy it....)

leaded is good for carburated, like the old stang or whatever muscle car he had, you can run it on the S2000 if you do wish, the most it will do is destroy your CAT, then it will start to mess up your Fuel injection system down the road

Tks fellas. Glad I didn't take his word for it.
Haha, DO IT STUIE!!! Haha, jp foo, that leaded shit'll eat through you cat like last night's thai food.
You'll be fine with 100 sunoco unleaded, but since you don't have any aftermarket fuel management, you won't need it, also since you drive like a granny and won't sell me your Mugen crap!!!!

Leaded gasoline will deposit lead on your catalytic converter substrate, which will prevent it from catalyzing CO, and NOx. In other words, it will destroy your converter. But on older muscle cars (that didn't have converters), the lead acted as a lubricant to the valves. The valves were designed to "wipe" the sealed surface, thus keeping it clean. without the lead, those old muscle cars would wear out the valves. That's why they sell lead substitute for cars like that. Modern car valves don't have that wiping action, and therefore don't wear down without the use of lead.

But I have no Cat. on my car.
