Leak From Rear Diff Mount?
Hello,
I noticed the other day a spot of oil in my garage from the rear of my 2003 sk2 (71,000/mi). Under further inspection it looks like a may have a leak from the drivers side rear diff mount? I'm attaching two images that I took under the car. The first image is from the rear of the car the other is from the front. Can any one speak to this issue and if it is common? I'm the only owner of the car & I've done regular rear diff changes (not that it's directly related). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-j

I also had my left (drivers side) rear diff mount go (it was broken when I bought the car--who knows how long the previous owner drove the car that way or what damage occurred).
Same picture for me, right down to the fluid leaking onto the exhaust piping below.
I had a Honda dealer mechanic look at it who works on all the s2000s they get and he said it was "very rare, very uncommon." But it happened to my '02 w/ 58k miles.
I'm not sure what the cause was, but I replaced both rears with new ones.
Does anyone know what would cause these to burst/break?

As far as ordering parts...would that be considered: 50710-S2A-000 (part #) 001 002 MOUNTING A, RR. DIFFERENTIAL (copied from Majestic - Component\Rear Differential Mount)? Would I also need: 50730-S2A-013(part #) 002 001 RUBBER ASSY., R. DIFFRENTIAL MOUNTING
