Leaking Trans Fluid from Bell Casing
Hello everyone!
I have a slow leak coming from the center of the bell casing of the transmission. The transmission was recently purchased to be swapped into my MY02 car. It is off the car, so I hope its easy to remedy and fix. The transmission was shipped to my house and it was leaking fluid out of the box already. I inspected the transmission casing and there are no hairline cracks or any cracks to speak of. Located the source of the leak and it appears to be emanating from the center of bell housing.
Any ideas? I hope its a cheap fix with a gasket replacement of some sort. I've attached some pictures but its going to be hard to see the leak.
Thank you all!!
Regards,
Jeff

Oh... It was upright the whole time during transport. Awesome. Btw Billman this is the tranny I want to swap in if you decide to come down in June!
