Default Leave car on jack stands?

Is it safe to leave my car on 4 jack stands for 1-2 weeks? Will it put stress on the chassis or anything? I need to get my wheels powdercoated and I don't have a spare set of wheels. So it's just gonna sit on the stands till I get em back.

Are the stands at the factory jacing pionts or elsewhere? Either way (i'm not an expert), I dont think it will hurt anything.

Yes it will be fine. I left mine on stands for 6 months for winter storage. Just use the correct locations.

my blue car was on stands for 8.5 months with a broken motor, and the track car was up on a lift for over a year as I repaired/built it. 1-2 weeks is nothing.

It's a good idea to put a slight load on the suspension. It's not good to just leave it hanging. I used RV adjustable (leveling) jack stands and put a slight load on the suspension. I placed the stands under the lower ball joints. Don't use the RV jacks as the primary type of support though.
My car was in storage for 3 years.
I had two types of "standard" jack stands: one with a shallow curve on its pad, and one with a semicircular deep groove. The deep groove perfectly matched up with the sub frame shape, and I used the flatter pad style at the factory jack points. The deeper groove can dent floor panel or even the side of the car if you try to use them at the factory jack points.

Those must be dust bunnies; didn't know they could jump that high.

If his car was in storage for three years, I would guess that he put whatever it is in the exhaust to keep unwanted guest from making their home in the mufflers.
