Good to hear that you found the Gremlin. I was thinking diff/slipping clutch but fuel pump is a lot easier to fix

Diff was replaced last spring (don't ask )...so I knew that was not the problem. Plus this *always* felt as though it was a fuel cut-out/hesitation issue. I'd already had my "shuddering diff" experiences...very different animal altogether .
