Default Light weight mods

has anyone done any light weight mods to their s2k yet? whats the lightest out there thats been confermed? what are some easy mods to do?

There are a few cars down to around 2,500 lbs.

The easiest (free) ways to reduce weight...

Remove passanger seat
Remove spare tire
Remove jack & tool kit

has anyone got crazy and took out the soft top, motors, and all the wiring out and put a hard top inplace of it yet thats not a 'track only' car?

It's been done many times. The soft top and motors weigh approx 120 lbs combined. The hardtop is 44 lbs, so its a decent weight savings.

i think i saw a couple of people take out the convertible optiona and go the hardtop route. And still only use it for street use. I forgot exactly wherei saw them but once i do i will let you know

A titanium single exhuast will not only increase power but save you 35+lbs.
