Thumbs up Line Boring the Engine Block?

So I now have to rebuild my engine myself because in 3 attempts the shop couldnt get it right. So I forced them to give me a refund and decided to do it myself. I have done several civic engines and figured this cant be too much harder.

So my question is:

I have a spun rod bearing and its knocking pretty hard! I know flex can sometimes mess up the line bore of a block with regular main bearings, but our block splits in two and the crank goes in the middle.

Are there any specs on the bore or has anyone had to have their block re-bored through the mains??

You won't find any bearings from honda that will work with a line bored block.

A spun rod bearing damaged the rod throw, not the main bearing bores.

Time for a new block and crank.

You are the one asking about line boring. There is no telling what has been damaged after 3 attempts to rebuild the same engine.
