Thumbs up A little input: WEIRD IDLE< falls under 1K rpms

So this has been going on for about 4 months. I bought the car used and certified at a honda dealership like a year ago. It is an 02 with 32,000 miles on it currently, i bought it with 14,XXX. ( I KNOW I LOVE DRIVING HER). With such low miles i dont know why its having weird idling probelms.

Heres what up
Car is stock, and i tend to notice this more prevelantly on cold days. When my car is warming up and even in the early stages when my car is alllready showing 3 blocks in the temperature reader. Ill be out of gear at a light and the idle falls under 1k rpms, hits... i would say 900 rpms and the car gets this like, pulse like shake, sometimes it falls to 700 rpms at a light and the car wobble gets so violent i would say it feels like the motor is gonna shake itself out of idle and die.???????????????????????????????????????????? WTF?

im starting to get tired of this. Do you guys know what this is? how to fix it? you guys ever have it?

input wopuld be great. one love

chris

You don't need more than one reply.

MAP Wack is one possible fix.

This is a common problem, there could be many different things that cause it.
Order I would go in

MAP Wack and possible Pull the Back-Up ECU Fuse for 30-45 secs - then start teh car and let it idle for 2-5mins with NOTHING on - ac - radio - lights - etc

Cleaning the Plug for the MAP sensor
and
Securing the MAP Sensor and Plug with either the OEM zip tie / or by using two zip ties to secure it so it can't move or wiggle around.

Cleaning the IAC valve
