Default A little lowering spring help please

I have a set of RGR-TI 2000 SPRINGS They are progressive springs.
I bought them Used with about 10K miles.
When I got them they were not marked front and rear....Just springs in a box???
I have no idea of which ones go to the front and what ones go to the rear
Can anyone tell me how to tell them apart?
One set has tight windings at the bottom and the other set is a little more spread apart at the bottom. Please let me know what set is for the front and what set is for the back/rear.
Thanks p

I think the shorter ones go in the front.

Not 100% sure though so I would wait for more answers.

Finally decided to lower it

Ya what a bugger When ever I did springs on my American cars they always had a tag on them with spring rate and a F or R to let you know what was what. Even when I pulled the OEMs out of my 1967 Stingray they still had the tag on them

The club member that I got them from told me...Quote:
"hey...the ones that are slightly shorter go in the rear. they are ever so slightly smaller".
Now I am I have already put the smaller springs in the rear they also were a bit lighter than the taller ones by a half Lb.
I am not done with the job yet, I still have to do the front. The car is still in the air so I have no idea how it will sit or look.

I will do as Hockey sagest and try to get a hold of the manufacturer.

you put the shorter ones in the rear right? i am almost positive that is how it went with my eibachs. they had part numbers on them that i researched and eventually found my answer, but it ended up being the shorter in the rear i believe.

Yes I did put the shorter ones in the rear. I too had to do a little research on them.
The spring rate for the front was 262Lbs with a 0.8" drop and the rear was 332Lbs with a 1.4"drop so I just did a little spring compressing to see which gave me the most resistance also there was a bit of a tag left on one spring the let you know what end was down.
Thanks all for the help and ideas
