Default Locked out of 3rd gear

I have a problem with my ap1, only ever happens on the track shifting at redline. Won't let me into 3rd gear, never grinds. Just feels like a lockout, if I ease up on the Rpms it will let me in but then I'm losing time.New oem clutch and slave/master. Did it with the old oem clutch as well. Fresh fluids all around - amsoil,Clutch greased and shifter greased, free play minimal. Maybe it's just me? Also I have 75a motor mounts which I suspect...anyone else have an idea?

Yeah, I was thinking motor or trand mounts. Things moving around under load. Check those...

Btw only locks me out on the upshift, not downshift to 3rd.
Will check the trans and diff mounts (both 75a)maybe they need to be reset/realigned. Not sure if this would have an explanation for it or not mechanically.

Thanks

Synchronizers? I recall seeing a post by Billman that said to go through all gears up to redline and back down a few times to get them back in line. He also mentioned to not skip-shift.

All fluids have a few hundred km on it only. I feel the issue is mechanical In nature

I did have one customer that had a problem getting into third, because the engine/trans were shaking back and forth too much. During fast shifts (he was shifting too fast anyway) he would hit the "side of the gate" so to speak.

I recommended mounts or an Engalls ETD, we have not done the job yet.

Maybe I am trying to shift too fast. But I wouldn't expect that to not let me in the gate. Mounts are good, maybe I will try going back to oem. Car has about 160k km. 3rd gear never gives me an issue otherwise. Maybe I will play around with the free play, maybe I have too little, been running this amount of free play for many years though.
