i have the kit sitting in my living room!!! i say good choice on the kit! i planned to have it installed today.. but the roads are horrible .. oh well i can wait a day i guess?

wait a second! The dyno sheet shows there is not as much of a low-end torque difference for the vortech supercharger than for the UR turbo. I expected a much larger deviation

at 3000rpm
V=115lbft
UR=125

At 3500 rpm:
V=125lbft
UR=140

at 4000rpm:
V=137
UR=145

5500rpm, largest difference
V=145
UR=195

then at vtec, 6000rpm
V=170
UR=185

this makes the Vortech the better bang for the buck. Producing less parasitic loss than I expected. Does that Vortech equiped car have aftermarket exhaust?

I'd like to see a comparison of the comptech vs vortech superchargers on a dyno

 

If both S's are identical except for the supercharger, and one has comptech, and the other vortech...the vortech will make more power because it runs more boost and has the aftercooler.

 

I'm really interested in the low-end power comparison of the two superchargers. But I guess that the extra boost will help everywhere
