Default Loss of power on turns

Whats up guys! I'm experiencing something odd with my s2k that has left me a bit baffled. To keep things short, simple, and to the point, I'm experiencing loss of power and what almost seems like fuel cutoff for about .5 - 1 second on hard right turns while accelerating out of the turn. As an example, it almost feels like a map sensor issue (mine was replaced 4 months ago). The car will then revert back to normal shortly after and runs great. It only seems to happen on sharp right turns. Before I start throwing the $ at it, any tips would be appreciated. Any ideas?

Maybe oil is being drawn into the combustion chamber and the ecm is pulling timing? I know people get some oil burn on heavy right turns.

What year is your car? Could it be the VSA kicking in and pulling back power when it senses wheel slip? VSA was an option in '07 and standard in '08. If you have it there is a button to the right of the steering column to disable it.

Could be either of the above suggestions but also how low is the fuel when this happens? Will this still happen on a full tank of gas?

VSA is standard on USDM DBW cars (2006 and later). Easy enough to press the switch on the instrument cluster and turn it off for testing. If your car is pre-2006 it's something else for sure!

Are you getting a cloud of white smoke when it happens?

Sorry for late reply guys. I was out of town. I have an 01 s2000. Also, the oil level is full, fuel has always been above half a tank, there is no white smoke out the back, all fluids and maintenance are up to date. I've had my MAP sensor go bad many moons ago and the symptoms are about the same -- hesitation and bogging as if it's not getting fuel almost. I'll let off the gas when it's happening and the car reverts to normal. I have only been able to replicate the issue on sharp right turns. Could the map sensor be going bad again? Could it be the fuel pump? Also, I haven't cleaned the throttle body in a while. I don't see how a right turn would affect ANY of these components. The car runs great otherwise. I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and I can't figure this one out for the life of me!

Put fuel pressure gauge on it. Temporally mount it where you can see it while driving. Diagnostic fuel pressure gauge taped to windshield. I replaced mine for because of same symptoms but mine would do it either direction. And about 7000-8000 rpms.

So you're saying it could be my fuel pump going bad?
