Default Loud noise when I hit a bump??

Lately, I have noticed that when I hit bumps my right rear shock/tire makes a very loud noise/bang. This does not happen all of the time and the bump has to be something pretty significant, usually on the highway. It also happens more often when I have a pasenger in the car. I checked where the shock inserts into the shock tower and that looked OK. Any ideas?
Tony

I get that noise only when i go over a speedbump. The sound is more dramatic on the rears they're pretty quiet on the fronts. Is that sound normal on stock shocks with lowered springs? (i'm lowered too)

I had a clunk in my front right. I pulled the wheel off tonight and although I couldn't feel any play in the sway bar to A arm link I removed it, WD40'd the threads and reinstalled nice and tight. The clunk has now gone.
