Default Loud noise when starting engine

Hello everybody. I started having this issue recently when I start up the engine when it (engine) is cold. I can hear a very loud screeching noise coming from somewhere around the engine. The longer I press the starter button, the longer the sound seems to be present for, at least it feels that way. I'd like to figure out where the issue could be. I went ahead and recorded the sound because I wasn't able to find anywhere online somebody having this noise problem: https://youtu.be/DhKK0CK2Qfw.
Any help is appreciated.

Hard to tell because potato quality but symptoms sound like a stuck starter. Have you looked this up yet?

Not yet. It only happens when the car has been off for a while. I might have to take it to the shop and leave it there until the engine cools down so they can reproduce the problem.
I did notice a couple of times after driving it for about 20 minutes, I turn off the engine and try to start it again, the car won't turn on, it looks similar to when the battery is dead.
