Cool loud pop from clutch erea.

so here is the deal my fellow s2ki members. i let this chick test drive my car, because i need to sell it. i have a son now and the s2k won't due. i downgraded to a eg hatchback. well back to the problem. this girl poped my tire and jacked up my clutch within 5 minutes of a test drive. i couldn't drive the car with her because i had my son with me at the time and i had no body to watch him. i was thinking about taking her to small claims court and sueing for the cost of the clutch and right rear tire, but i realize it's my word against hers and the chances of getting anything are very little unless of course she confesses about the whole thing.

i was accelerating on first gear and before i got the chance to shift, i heard a loud pop from the clutch area right at 8k rpm. please let me know what you think or know the exact problem is or what the possibilities are.

symptoms:
clutch does not engage
clutch grinds
liquid was spilling from underneath the car, but i don't think it was from the tranny and the liquid was very watery.

picture i took just a couple of minutes before clutch failure.

Could be your clutch line burst. If you have fluid on the ground and the clutch is not engaging it would make sense to me.

Which tire did she pop? We need more details. If she popped your tire during the test drive then she likely hit something which could have been drug under the car, possibly puncturing the transmission or differential (transmission fluid is watery, looks like 20wt motor oil).

If she popped your rear tire, and you put your spare tire on the rear and then proceeded to redline the car in 1st then it could be your diff as well (don't use the spare on the rear).

Where exactly was the liquid coming from? Did you rub it between your fingers or smell it? Differential fluid will have a very strong sulfur smell, you'll know it if its your diff. More details...

she popped the right rear tire, but i got the tire patched immediately afterwards and have been driving the car around for about 1 1/2 weeks before this incident.
the fluid seemed to have been coming from the tranny area. it felt like water, but i couldn't tell for sure because the asphalt had allot of loose gravel. i did not smell it though.

thank you guys for your help!

funny you should say this, because i asked her if she hit something and of course she denied it. i drove around for a while with a seemingly slipping clutch and softer then usual peddle feel (still stiffer then stock though).

sorry for the whoring of the car, i can't help it.

Did you ever lift the car and look underneath to see where the leaking is from?

My gut feeling tells me that it is one of the lines in this pic or the slave itself, most likely the rubber hose, PN 12
