Default Loud whine from diff

Now I know that there is going to be a whine but it isn't a constant whine it only occurs at certain speeds is it part of the break in will it quiet after breakin miles or is it always going to be like that?

The 4.57 car I've driven whines the loudest from 3000-4500 RPM at light throttle inputs.

My 4.57 were loud but my 4.56 gears were near OEM quiet I am putting in a new setup tonight I built with 4.56 gears. I think it's the luck of the draw when it comes to the amount of gear wine you end up with sometimes the rear is quiet with only a slight wine at certain RPM

Gears from Richmond are cut straighter and are thick, this is why they wine. The 4.56 and the old 4.57 are Richmond gears the 4.77 gears are from KIA and are made for the everyday driver.
