Default Lower radiator hose leaking

My lower rad hose is leaking. I suspect the clamp can't hold pressure anymore (car has 103k miles).

It's pretty good timing on my car's part as I needed a cooling system flush + thermostat replacement anyhow.

So my question is, should I opt for worm-gear clamps or just get replacment OEM spring clamps? Should I also replace the hose as well?

Thanks!

Replace hose it's the easiest one to replace of the two, and yes spring clamps are the only thing I would trust to hold that hose.

Time and time again I hear from those who experienced premature failures from non OEM parts. I have noted comments from those much more experienced than I that OEM parts just hold up better. I have taken that to heart and if I need something I just pay the freight for OEM. Worry free as you can be.
