1.5 is always engaged when accelerating through a turn and sometimes enganged when braking through a turn. 2 way is always engaged. It is generally believed that 2 way is too aggressive for a street car.

To clarify:

2 way is engaged (locked) when accelerating AND deccelerating.

1.5 way is locked under accel. and disengaged (open) under deccel.

2.0 is more for drag and 1.5 is more for roadracing.

Your clarification is incorrect.

From the Kaaz website:

"1-Way L.S.D. means that only when the accelerator is stepped on, the L.S.D. comes into use. The 1.5-Way L.S.D. means that when the car is braking, there is little L.S.D. effect and the 2-Way L.S.D. means that either when the car is accelerating or braking the L.S.D. is always active. The difference between these are the shaping of the cam into different shapes for the pinion to fit. The diagram below shows how the 2-way version of the Kaaz L.S.D. operates."

So as I said above "1.5 is always engaged when accelerating through a turn and sometimes enganged when braking through a turn." If it were to never engage through a turn when decelerating that would just be a 1-way LSD.

Same thing. Just different wording.

An LSD diff can never be so fully open like a regular diff. It's always going to be "somewhat" locked because there is resistance on the clutch plates.

You said "sometimes" and that should have been replaced with "always"

Under braking, the plates won't be locked.
