when i put my MY02 into first gear clutch pressed to the floor, it clunks into gear. if i take it back out of first and put it back in it does not do it again. its so subtle that my wife does not notice it but it drives me NUTS! could it be the clutch? does anyone have any ideas on what this might be? Thanks

 

mine does the same thing. I think its just the normal noise of the s. I changed my tranny fluid and it made it less noticeable, but its still there.

 

Normal. If you wait a second after you push the clutch in before putting in gear it won't do that.

 

this has been brought up so many times its annoying

its normal, if u dont want to hear it hold the clutch down for a sec before putting it into 1st as junky said...
