Thumbs up Maintenance...

I know I should use Search but it has not being working for me in the past week. Anyone has the information on what is done to the AP2 S2000 @ 30,000 miles? I can't find my manual.

Thanx.

Change the cabin filter yourself, my dealer wanted $100 for the filter (and install was free )

He did offer to knock $20 off the price since I was getting the 30K service.

They rotate your tires and flush the muffler bearings with new shitzoo grease. Then they lighten your car by removing money from your wallet

Pretty sure you can find the info on honda's website man. You'll get more flippant remarks than answers from some of these guys.

you can find the info EASILY on THIS website. it's in the FAQ.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=154011

scroll all the way down near the bottom

also, you can pay the dealership to rip you off to get it done (by the way, a diff fluid change at the dealership is NOT part of their "30,000 mile service" and they'll charge you a good $70 at least to do it)

OR

you can look in our FAQ here at the top of THIS forum and see that it tells you how to do everything.

Considering you could have done all the above work yourself for about $35, I don't consider that a "good deal". but to each his own.

Actually, while my dealer tried to tell me that the cabin filter was $99 (yes, they really did) they include the rear diff change as part of the 30K service. They didn't charge extra for it either.
A member here was told the exact opposite at a different dealership, so you're right, it's going to vary from dealer to dealer. That's why IMO just DIY and save yourself lots of cash either way.

I wish my condo association would let me do that stuff myself. I can get away with certain things, but fluid changes would get me fined a few hundred bucks .

I have a good mechanic that I go to. Found him when I had my STI, and I can sit in the garage with him while he does the work. Great prices too.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get Billman to leave L.I. for the much better location of NJ
