Bill an on the tct when I took the tct out I just have the tct and the spring. Is there anymore parts to it? And cosmomiller, I did start the engine 2 times when I didn't know but it I turn it off less then 1 minute. Will that effect anything?

Along with the tct body, there are 5 parts you should have. Piston, worm, pin, and 2 different springs.

I only got the tct body and the big spring when I took it out. Where have it dropped to? Should I take the cover off from the chain and look there?

Use a magnet tool to fish out the stuff that dropped in the block if possible. Part of the reason you use a 8mm bolt is to secure all the components in the tct while you're removing it from the head.

Will it mess up the engine if I was to crank it up with just the big spring in my tct?
