Major Water leaking
this is the 2006 , found 3 inches of watr in the tool area , vacuumed it all out took out the carpet and another day of rain has even more water than the previous day. No leaves in the area around the trunk seal that might allow water in
Any Ideas???
Got into the trunk with water running onto the car and see no visible water coming in, tail lghts have no moisture in them, car has Never been wrecked or taken apart for any reason, has an OEM wing spoiler that has been on for 2 years but never once leaked before.
Any Ideas???

There was a thread with a DIY recently. The rubber "vent" cutout didn't seal around the outside border and water was coming in that way. A little bit of sealant (one person did outside edge, one person did it from the inside without removing the bumper) and they were good to go.

Well, that's one fix.
I recently had water in the trunk and found the drains plugged. I've heard water sloshing just behind me after a rain or washing the car for some time now. A quick drive with turns would eliminate the sound but it would reappear. After having a wet tool well for the first time, I decided it was (belatedly) time to take action.
I removed all the trunk panels so I could get things good and dry. Then I put the top down and looked for the drains. They are just outside the brushes - push the outermost brush inwards and you can see the plastic drain funnel and drain hole (I used a flashlight to help). There was obviously water standing in there so I took a wire clothes hanger and straightened it so I could work on the drain hole. Since there was water in there I couldn't see what the blockage was but some careful probing with the wire drained the water completely. Did the same thing on the other side with the same results. I then used a large funnel and a pitcher of water to prove that the blockage was gone and to help clear the drain tube of anything that may have only gone partially down (my wife helped with this so I could use the flashlight and verify water was draining and not backing up).
That's all it took - maybe 15-20 minutes of time, no disassembly. And no more sloshing noises or water in the trunk.

Welcome to the club! I'm dealing with the leak too. It appears to be coming from the sink/drains in my car, not the vent. I've vacuumed out the area around the drain to remove debris, but I think I still have a partial clog below that I need to sort out.
