Mass of rotating objects 'robbing' more performance in 9K revving engines than 6K?

It is a rather small clutch . . . and Honda spouts off about low inertia drivetrain components . . . But the weakness we perceive is most likely from the balancing act between 'just enough' and Honda's interpretation of what they think customers want in terms of pedal effort.

Just like the shifter resistance vs. the grind (sorry I have issues )
