Default Max PSI for Master Cylinder Cap

So I've been looking into getting a Motive Power Bleeder and the only one that works for Honda's is universal. The have been mulitiple reports of the universal cap not having a good seal.

So my thought is get a MC cap and put a 1/4 threaded fitting in it and use that instead to get a good seal. My question is can the cap handle pressures up to 15psi w/o leaking?

I've searched and no one has done this.

The universal cap works just fine. I've been bleeding my brakes using this for 4 years now. I say try it and see for yourself.

Did you modify it at all? As far as what was given to you?

No modification whatsoever. Works right out of the box.

I've been told that trying to modify an OEM cap to work won't do the job. It won't hold any pressure.

I did have sealing issues with my Motive, so I used two large fender washers to spread the load out better and it fixed the issue.

In each of the two flanges is a hole that the J hook goes through and the wing nut sits on that tightens the chain up. What happens is the J hook tends to bow the adapter. If you put a fender washer on under the wing nut, it helps spread the load out and helps prevent the adapter from bowing.
