In, for lab results.
What kinda oil consumption did your engine have?

I don’t think it is anything to worry about. I looked at one of my changes in the sunlight and it looked like metallic flake paint. The resulting oil sample was fine.

I'm not entirely sure as I've only had the car for a month, but I've been adding some here and there. My guess would be about a quart between oil changes. I'll know more once I get some more miles on this oil.

I've ordered some UOA kits for the next oil change. Trash got picked up before I could dig out the old filter

Did some work, had to replace valve cover gasket and adjust the valves, I also took off the vtec solenoid and looked there. I didn't see a speck of metal in any of the ports or filter on the gasket. Exhaust valves were a little tight but not by much.

Didn't see any material laying around the head either, so hopefully I'm in the clear. I do see some slight scoring on a few of the cam lobes, not sure if that is normal.

Camshaft wear doesn't look too unusual to me.

The exhaust cams between tower 5 / 4 and 4 / 3 and intake cams between 4 / 3 show a line on the non-vtec lobes.
It's also on the corresponding cam rollers, as far as the image shows.
That could be raised (cracked) retainers, make sure they are ok.
I don't think it would be the cause of metal in the oil though.
