Metallic rattling noise when clutch is engaged...
Alright guys, my '01 AP1 has about 91k miles on it, and today the car started to make metallic rattling/spinning noises whenever the clutch is engaged. When the clutch pedal is pushed in, and the clutch is disengaged, the sound goes away. Note: this sound even happens in neutral, when the clutch is engaged. It progressively gets faster/louder as the clutch is engaging, until it reaches a certain speed/volume after the clutch is entirely engaged.
The tow guy thought it might be the throw out bearing, so I did a little more research online, and found out that it has a good chance of actually being the input shaft bearing/clutch housing bearing. (Since the sound goes away, instead of happening when the clutch is disengaged)
I looked on www.hondaautomotiveparts.com to try to find the appropriate part, but the closest parts I could find were the clutch pilot bearing and the clutch release bearing. Is the input shaft bearing possibly called something else on there?
How much do you think the part would cost and how long would it take to replace it?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys.

I believe his foot is off, from his description. Clutch engaged = no foot on pedal. Push in to disengage.

thats what it sounds like to me as well.
