Default Missing AC air dam cover / diffuser

New member here. I've learned a tremendous amount from you guys here in the last month, so I want to begin by thanking you all. I hope my knowledge grows enough to be able to contribute one day as well.

I bought my '03 BB three weeks ago. Mods include an AP2 bumper and OEM lip, AP2 17" wheels, removed side emblems. and clear headlight diffusers. I just discovered today, though, a mod that I hadn't been aware of, and I wanted to see if you guys thought it would be an issue: The cover/diffuser that goes over the AC dam is missing. Tried searching the web for an OEM replacement on the Honda parts sites but can't seem to find it. Ebay has one listed.

Does anyone know where I can find this part other than eBay?

Also, am I doing harm to the car by driving it without this part?

Thank you in advance for your input.

So I found the part at Majestic Honda Parts--i had the name wrong; it's an Air Guide Plate, part #19600-PCX-000. I ordered it and the rest of the parts that go with it.

The second question is the more pressing one--until I receive these parts, am I doing any harm to the car by driving it without the air guide installed?

Thanks again.

U don't really need it. It doesn't harm the car in anyway. Its purpose is to keep the air on the radiator at all time n not have the air go anyway else. Most of us replace it with an aftermarket cooling plate which is installed at the top and is very easy to install it too. Its also easy to get to that area if there's ever some big debrises that got suck in there. So if u ordered it then it's fine but installation may require removing the front bumper.

Thanks a ton for the info and the reassurance I'm not harming the car. The part and their ancillary pieces weren't expensive so I just went ahead and bought it. Possibly having to remove the bumper, though, is a drag.

Thanks!

You shouldn't have to remove the bumper. I didn't remove my bumper when I removed that piece and installed my aftermarket cooling plate. Bummer averted.
